LIFE TRANSITIONS

“Change is situational. Transition, on the other hand, is psychological. It is not those events but rather the inner reorientation or self-redefinition that you have to go through in order to incorporate any of those changes into your life. Without a transition, a change is just a rearrangement of the furniture.
Unless transition happens, the change won’t work.”

Over our lifetimes, we will have to navigate countless changes that may require us to adapt in unexpected ways and take stock of decisions we have made leading up to the present. Sometimes we may feel confused, overwhelmed, scared, or upset about having to pivot our life plans. Other times, we may be excited or hopeful for what is coming over the horizon. And then there may be moments we feel everything at once and find ourselves immobilized by decision paralysis as our emotions pull us in difference directions.

When we find ourselves having to re-route our life's path, it's not uncommon to experience a disconnect between who we have been, who are currently are, and who we want to be. No matter where you are in your journey or how things have changed around you (or changed you), you have the ability to make choices to impact your future.

I can help you  re-discover yourself by processing the difficult feelings that come up during these times, taking stock of your personal values, and taking meaningful steps towards the changes you have control over. Over time, you can remember that you have the power to shape your future and move towards your destination with purpose.
