DISCUSSION GROUP
Have you been wanting to take this classic off your bookshelf and finally crack it open or are you itching to revisit its wisdom if you've read it before?

Are you interested in doing so within community, alongside others seeking to deepen their relationships with themselves, their drums, and those feminine ancestors who used them through out history?

If so, you are invited to join us as we read "When the Drummers were Women: A Spiritual History of Rhythm" by Layne Redmond and engage in informal, yet intentional discussion and reflection on it, chapter by chapter. By reading one chapter a month and then coming together in community, we aim to share what we learned, what resonated with us or sparked new curiosities, and how we feel we can incorporate these insights into our own drumming practices.

The discussion group will be held the 3rd Friday of the month from 12p-1p EST and will be offered as a hybrid in-person (at the Charles Town Library) and virtual meeting (on google meet). Due to space being limited for in-person attendance as well as the importance of reserving access to the virtual link only for committed participants, registration is required below.
