We all have things we enjoy doing or know are beneficial for us that we don't do as frequently as we want to. Either we forget about them or they seem too small to be helpful or it just feels too difficult to start them.

By simultaneously lowering the difficulty of starting while also incentivizing the experience of doing the thing itself, we can increase the likelihood that we will follow through on our intentions. By choosing small, sometimes micro tasks, we make it feel a lot easier to say yes to something and often, our motivation will follow once we start the activity. When we are able to gameify it, it adds a small element of challenge that can tickle our brains in a way trying to do things off a list often doesn't.

Personalized BINGO cards are a great way to do this because it gives you options, lets you see your progress as you mark off squares, and can even steer you towards selections once you have a path identified that you want to take to get BINGO. Plus, even though we have an abundance of choices (which can sometimes trigger completionist tendencies to do everything available), most of us who have played BINGO know we aren't trying to fill the whole card, just get 5 in a row, .

Here's an example for when you are trying to spend more time outside in nature, despite the bitting cold, and wanting to incorporate more mindful moments into your day.
